Academic Conference
The Korea Art Education Association has been holding annual academic conferences twice each year
since 1992. The subjects of the four academic conferences for the years 2004 and 2005 were the practical
approach to improvement of art classes. During those conferences, which were attended enthusiastically
by teachers who do the actual classroom teaching, the Association provided attending members with
opportunities to discover how to improve their classroom teaching skills, and to learn about the theory
behind art education principles. The locations and subjects of the academic conferences for the last
two years are as follows.
○ The 25th Academic Conference ? Summer, 2004
This conference was held at the Korea National University of Education, and the subject was “A Practical
Approach To Improving the Instruction of Art Classes, I”
○ The 26th Academic Conference ? Winter, 2004
This conference was held at Gyeongin National Univ. of Education, and the subject was “A Practical
Approach To Improving the Instruction of Art Classes, II”
○ The 27th Academic Conference ? Summer, 2005
This conference was held at Chungju National Univ. of Education, and the subject was “A Practical
Approach To Improving the Instruction of Art Classes, III”
○ The 28th Academic Conference ? Winter, 2005
This conference was held at Gwangju National Univ. of Education, and the subject was “A Practical
Approach to Improving the Instruction of Art Classes, IV”
